The 5th edition of Butterfly Festival is being organised by Karnataka Forest Department and BBC in the first week of December 2021. There would be a series of expert talks / panel discussion in the period 6th to 9th December. On 10th December the meet will culminate with a formal function at Doresanipalya Forest Station, Arekere, Bannerghatta Road. The festival aims to increase awareness of school children and general public on Butterflies and Bees. Festival also includes nature walks, photography competition, Quiz, drawing competition etc.
